Dr. Kelsey Baas- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy & Owner of Compleo

Dr. Kelsey Baas received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern after receiving her Bachelors in Spanish at Baylor University. Through her experience as a clinical physical therapist at Texas Children’s Hospital, she realized the value of a multi-disciplinary team approach to health and wellness as well as the importance of individualized care.

Kelsey served as the Chronic Pain Clinic Physical Therapist providing extensive experience and insight to chronic pain treatment. She is additionally BSPTS certified, a Schroth based method for the treatment of scoliosis. Kelsey is excited to open and manage Compleo Physical Therapy & Wellness to bring an individualized and multi-disciplinary approach to Waco for Chronic Pain, Scoliosis, and overall well-being. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, cheering on the Baylor Bears, dancing, and traveling.

Aubrey Smith- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy & Pelvic Health

Aubrey Smith attended Harding University and received a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training as well as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Pelvic health is a specialty where you work between the belly button and the knee.  As a skilled physical therapist, Aubrey treats the pelvic floor muscles which sit between the tail bone and pubic bone.

She uses fascial mobilization, trigger point dry needling, exercises, and coordination training to help with disorders like pain with sex or tampon use, urinary urgency/frequency, and vulvodynia. She also integrates habitual changes with strength and coordination to treat urinary and fecal incontinence as well as pelvic instability.

Sarah Ouren- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC)

Sarah earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Wichita State University. She utilizes an array of manual therapy techniques such as myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and Trigger Point Dry Needling to help her patients feel their best. 

Sarah treats across the lifespan for orthopedic conditions, but has a special love and training for pelvic health dysfunction. Listening to her patients to treat the root cause of their issue is paramount to help them find meaningful next steps for treatment, resolution, and/or self-management. 

Sarah earned the Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) and expects that pelvic health will become a gold standard of treatment in healthcare.

Courtney Ivey- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Courtney received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri after receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. She has lived throughout the Midwest and South and treated in the outpatient setting in various capacities including post-operative rehab, generalized pain and deconditioning, work-related injuries, and vestibular rehab.

Courtney finds it very rewarding to help patients pursue goals that they set for themselves or simply get back to daily living and meaningful activities without pain.

She has been working as a Physical Therapist for 12 years. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to see and treat in a variety of outpatient settings. This includes seeing patients for post-operative rehab, generalized pain and deconditioning, work-related injuries, vestibular rehab, and even some prosthetic gait training. The realm of physical therapy has so many resources that can address pain and function in such a variety of populations.

Dr. Thomas Anderson- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy & Dry Needling Certified

Dr. Thomas Anderson received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Harding University after receiving his Bachelors in business management at Texas A&M University in College Station. He has been practicing as a physical therapist in the outpatient setting and has experience treating neck/back pain, SIJ dysfunction, chronic pain, foot/ankle dysfunction and other orthopedic issues. He is also certified in dry needling and ASTYM.

“I am very passionate about treating my patients as a whole- not just as a diagnosis. I don’t want to treat someone without determining a root cause; if we know more about a cause, we have more power over our pain. I am excited to be working at Compleo because they share this passion with me by offering services that treat the whole person.”

Katelyn Combs- PT, DPT

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Specialty Pediatrics

Dr. Katelyn Combs earned her doctorate in physical therapy at Baylor University after earning a bachelors in Athletic Training at Wilmington College in Ohio. She has been working as a pediatric physical therapist for 3 years treating a variety of diagnoses such as torticollis, developmental delay, cerebral palsy, and developmental coordination disorder. She strives to use play-based strategies to help patients and their families meet their goals to function at the highest level.

Kendra Gee- PT, DPT, CPRCS, CPST

doctor of physical therapy, Child Passenger Safety Technician

Dr. Kendra Gee received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Hardin-Simmons University after receiving her Bachelors in Kinesiology at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas. She has been providing physical therapy services to children, from birth to 21 years old, since beginning her career as a physical therapist, and feels as though it is her true calling. 

She is also a Child Passenger Safety Technician and can complete car seat evaluations and installations. Kendra is also a certified primitive reflex clinical specialist. She is passionate about pediatrics and empowering parents to have their children reach their full potential. 

“I love getting to be creative with my patients in order to make therapy a fun and exciting space. It is awesome to see children reach the goals they have been working for in order to become more independent in their functional mobility skills.”

Hope Padgett- PT, DPT, WCS

doctor of physical therapy, APTA Women’s Health Certified Specialist, Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist

Hope received her Doctorate in Physical therapy at Baylor University, where she graduated summa cum laude, after receiving her Bachelors in Human Biology and Minor in Sports Science from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. After completing her Doctorate, Hope continued her education in a residency program at the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning in Jacksonville, Florida, specializing in the treatment of Pelvic Health diagnoses.
 
While in the residency she completed continuing education and training in evidence-based treatment strategies for pelvic floor dysfunction in the male, female, pediatric, geriatric, and neurologic populations. During the residency, Hope had a chance to work with counselors in the chronic pain program, occupational therapists, and other physical therapy specialists, where she learned to value the importance of a multimodal treatment approach with a qualified treatment team to ensure patient success.
 
She achieved the distinction of APTA Women’s Health Certified Specialist in 2022 after completing a specialist examination and presenting on the use of biofeedback in improving pelvic floor function after neurologic injury. She has a passion for serving the pregnancy and postpartum community and has recently completed further education and was certified as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
